Emily has a true passion for family law and has practiced extensively in that area during her years with the Legal Aid Commission.

Born and raised in St. John’s, Emily graduated from Memorial

University with a degree in Political Science and Sociology in 2015, and
obtained her Law Degree from Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie
University in Halifax, in 2018. She was called to the Newfoundland Bar
in 2019, and was awarded the Provincial Court Judges’
Association Award for her outstanding performance on the bar exam.
